Simon DeGaris

Chief Executive Officer

An entrepreneurial leader with specialised property and business experience gained from 18+ years in the self-storage industry, including acquisitions, development and management. Involved in more than AUD $400m of storage transactions across Australia and New Zealand. Has worked with many Private Equity, Funds Management, and Family Office Groups in his own company Self Storage Investments.

Hamish Lamont

Senior Acquisitions & Dev Manager

15+ years of experience in private property development and investments. Transacted and developed over $700m investments in his career to date, specialising in self-storage, shopping centres, large format retail, industrial and office redevelopment sites throughout Australia. Skilled in leadership, negotiation and delivery.

James Weight

Acquisitions & Dev Manager - VIC

Extensive industry knowledge with over 20 years experience in delivering mixed use, retail, office, retirement and aged care projects. James is well known as a high performer in difficult scenarios with a valuable network. His key skills include acquisitions, contract negotiation, excellent communication and leadership.

Daniel Quilty

Head of Finance

22 years of wide-ranging experience in large organisations and property funds management. Excellence driven with strengths in forecasting, reporting, developing automations and financial modelling. Daniel is a highly experienced, and technologically advanced Chartered Accountant with a passion for financial management.  

Craig Dapkewitch

Head of Operations

15+ years of experience in leadership roles in the retail industry across both FMCG and Big Box store environments. 3 years in the storage industry leading the operations for the largest state in the National Storage Portfolio responsible for annual revenue of over $100m with multiple new centre developments and acquisitions. Key skills include leading highly successful sales teams, operational execution, effective communication and change management.  

Hugh Davies

Acquisition and Development Manager

Working as a specialist self storage consultant for more than a decade, Hugh has extensive experience in the transaction of self storage facilities and the site selection of new development sites. Throughout his career, Hugh has worked with all of the major self storage operators across Australia and New Zealand, developing a strong relationship with key industry stakeholders.
